Privacy Policy

1. Controller

The controller responsible for the processing of personal data on this website is:

Jörn Langbehn, trading as Bitcoon
Krähenberg 1
23743 Grömitz
Germany

Email: support@bitcoon.world

2. General information

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

We process personal data only where this is necessary to provide and secure this website, respond to enquiries or where another lawful basis permits the processing.

We do not use personal data for personalised advertising. No advertising profiles are created on bitcoon.world, and personal data is not sold to advertising networks.

3. Website hosting and delivery

This website is provided through:

Framer B.V.
Rozengracht 207B
1016 LZ Amsterdam
The Netherlands

When you access this website, technically necessary information is processed to deliver the website to your device and operate it securely. This may include:

  • your IP address

  • the date and time of access

  • the requested page or file

  • browser and device information

  • the referring website

  • technical security, network and abuse-prevention signals

This information is processed to deliver the website, ensure its technical stability and security, and detect or prevent misuse and attacks.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, reliable and functional operation of the website.

Where Framer processes personal data on our behalf, Framer acts as a processor. This processing is governed by a data processing agreement in accordance with Article 28 GDPR. Framer uses infrastructure provided by Amazon Web Services and may engage additional sub-processors.

Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, Framer states that transfers are based on an adequacy decision, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, or on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Technical data is retained only for as long as necessary for website operation, security and troubleshooting. Longer retention may apply where required by law or where the data is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

4. Framer Analytics

We use Framer’s built-in analytics service to understand the use of this website in aggregated form and to improve its content and technical presentation.

The statistics may include:

  • page views

  • visitors counted within a daily period

  • frequently viewed pages

  • referral sources

Framer Analytics does not use analytics cookies or create a persistent visitor identifier.

According to Framer, the IP address and user agent are processed with a daily rotating key to distinguish repeat visits within the same day. The key is reset each day, and the resulting value cannot be used as a permanent identifier.

Visitors are not recognised across multiple days, no personal user profiles are created and the information is not used for personalised advertising.

To the extent that personal data is involved during the brief technical processing stage, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the anonymous statistical evaluation and improvement of our website.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Under the current website configuration, we do not use analytics, marketing or advertising cookies that require consent.

Framer Analytics operates without cookies and without persistent identifiers.

During an active attack against Framer’s infrastructure, Framer may temporarily set a security cookie named framer_clearance. This cookie only confirms that the browser has passed a security check. It is short-lived and is not used for advertising or visitor analytics.

The storage of this technically necessary cookie is based on Section 25(2)(2) of the German Telecommunications and Digital Services Data Protection Act. Any related processing is carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for the purpose of protecting the security and availability of the website.

Under the current configuration, Framer Analytics alone does not require a consent banner. This Privacy Policy and the consent setup must be reviewed if embedded videos, tracking services, marketing technologies or other consent-dependent services are added in the future.

6. Contact

You may contact us by email or through the contact form.

We may process:

  • your name, where provided or required

  • your email address

  • the content of your message

  • any other information you provide voluntarily

  • technical information required to transmit and protect the form

We use this information solely to process your enquiry and communicate with you.

Where your enquiry concerns a contract or steps taken before entering into a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

For other enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the proper and efficient handling of incoming communications.

When the contact form is used, the submitted information is processed through Framer’s infrastructure. It may also be processed by our email service provider where the message is forwarded to our email inbox.

The information will be deleted once your enquiry has been fully resolved, unless legal retention obligations or legitimate reasons require further storage. Business- or contract-related correspondence may be subject to statutory commercial or tax retention periods.

Required form fields are necessary for us to identify and respond to your enquiry. Without this information, the form may not be submitted or the enquiry may not be processed.

7. External links

This website contains links to external websites and platforms, which may include bitcoon.shop, YouTube, X or Telegram.

Merely displaying a standard link generally does not transmit information to the external provider. Once you click the link, you leave bitcoon.world, and the operator of the external website becomes responsible for the subsequent processing of your information.

Under the current configuration, bitcoon.world does not use social-media plugins, social tracking pixels or social-media content that loads automatically.

8. Downloads

Images, documents, memes, wallpapers or other materials may be made available for download.

A download normally involves only the technical information that is also required for a standard page request. Downloads are not linked to a registered user or personally attributed unless this is expressly stated for the relevant material.

9. No automated decision-making

We do not carry out automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.

10. Retention periods

Unless a specific retention period is stated in this Privacy Policy, personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant processing purpose.

The information will then be deleted unless statutory retention obligations, legitimate evidentiary interests or another lawful reason permits or requires further storage.

11. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right to:

  • obtain access to your personal data

  • have inaccurate information corrected

  • request deletion

  • request restriction of processing

  • receive certain information in a portable format

  • object to processing based on legitimate interests

  • withdraw consent with effect for the future

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Right to object

Where personal data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to the processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.

We will then cease processing the information unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or where the processing is required to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

You may exercise your rights by contacting:

support@bitcoon.world

These rights arise in particular from Articles 15 to 22 GDPR.

12. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

The supervisory authority responsible for us is:

Independent Centre for Privacy Protection Schleswig-Holstein
Holstenstraße 98
24103 Kiel
Germany

Email: mail@datenschutzzentrum.de
Telephone: +49 431 988-1200

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the website, the services used or the applicable legal requirements change.
